Support the Global HRIS Manager, working alongside other team members to support and enhance our HR systems for over 14,000 workers around the globe. Current modules supported include core Human Capital Management (HCM),Talent, Performance, Onboarding, Self Service, Time tracking, Time off and Absence and Learning.
Global HRIS Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing day-to-day Workday administrative functions including user setup, security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, data loads, and upgrades
Responsible for monitoring and resolving all end user tickets within a timely manner
Ownership of creating and maintaining documentation related to enhancements, business process and workflow changes
Responsible for creating, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports and queries – both standard and custom
Responsible for providing training to end users. Serve as the technical expert.
Identify, recommend and track opportunities for process and operational improvements.
Create and maintain custom fields, objects, validation rules, etc. to meet business requirements.
Regularly perform data integrity audits and validation and follow up with appropriate steps for corrections if necessary.
Help drive business process improvements and efficiencies by leveraging technology within the Workday platform, and deliver measurable results
Responsible for supporting our instance of Workday across all modules including design, configuration, and testing of enhancements and ongoing system maintenance
Act as liaison across internal teams to resolve issues as necessary
Work alongside internal and external stakeholders to help deliver projects and enhancement requests
Research processes and requirements to ensure the system is configured in line with business needs and in compliance of audit requirements
Provide support to the HRIS Manager and take a lead role as needed on projects and enhancement activities
Assist HR, managers, and staff with systems-related inquiries related to systems usability, assuming a lead role for the Workday functionality and processes
Support Workday cyclical activities including the annual compensation review, performance reviews, release management and any upgrade cycles
Assist in HR team-wide projects and provide additional administrative support as required
Seek to improve data capture and retrieval and propose improvements
Effectively communicate and deliver information and related analysis using excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Liaise with the global HR team and specialist groups to implement global standards and resolve issues across our instance of Workday
Support and execute bulk data loading activities, such as mass promotions, pay changes, and position changes using Workday’s EIB functionality
Support deployment of Workday into global sites.
Maintains and publishes monthly global headcount reporting.
Maintains and publishes various other monthly reporting.
And other duties as assigned.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience supporting HCM configuration in Workday
Bachelor’s degree in IT or Human Resource Management is required
Proven experience maintaining and configuring HCM using Workday, either supporting deployment/implementation or in a business-as-usual environment
Functional knowledge of HCM business processes (e.g. Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Onboarding, Goals & Performance, Career & Development, Payroll, Time Tracking, etc.) as well as strong systems analytics and support background
Related experience working in an HR systems environment
Proactive approach to issue resolution and system support
High level of analytical capabilities and attention to detail
High degree of comfort with technology and reporting; advanced computer skills with high proficiency in Excel (especially V-lookups, pivot tables)
Ability to translate and analyze complex data and communicate key findings to HR management, staff, and key stakeholders across the business
Ability to manage and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information and to use discretion, diplomacy, and tact
Proven track record of delivering quality results in a timely manner
Understanding of SQL and other related query and scripting languages.
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Must be available to occasionally work off-hours to support off-hour deployments
Experience of working in a global organization preferred
