Responsible for the developing customer’s new design and application needs involving the use of tantalum, KDP, MLC, AVX Interconnect and advanced capacitors applications in the Advanced Product Group. Help to train marketing personnel in technical aspects of applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Influence customer’s new design and packaging needs.
  • Keep abreast of latest technology in passive electronics.
  • Analyze system requirements, capacity, cost, and customer needs to determine feasibility of project and develop system plan.

  • Confer with engineers, customers, vendors and others to discuss existing and potential engineering projects or products.
  • Design electronic components and software, products and systems for commercial, industrial, medical, military, and scientific applications.
  • Develop and perform operational, maintenance, and testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment, and systems.
Job Requirements:
    Education:
  • BS Engineering Electrical Engineering Preferred
  • Background and Experience:

  • Minimum of five years demonstrated experience as electronic design engineer.
  • Special Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Should have experience with passive electronic components.
  • Public speaking experience desired.
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 is required.
