Senior SEC Reporting Analyst

Location: Greenville, SC
Job Description:
Responsible for leading a range of general reporting, consolidation, and financial analysis/ projects.
Reports To:
Manager of Accounting and Reporting
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Routinely review reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) with management and update them accurately to support current business needs as well as preparing and generating the reports.
  • Lead the preparation and filing of SEC reports including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, DEF 14-A, 11-K, 8-K, and other Forms as required. Includes preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and supplemental charts or reports as necessary.
  • Research accounting standards for proper treatment and support implementation of new or changed standards for global reporting and consolidation.
  • Review and update accounting policies and communicate changes globally.
  • Lead quarterly reporting for Kyocera packages.
  • Oversee Section 16(a) Officer filings on Forms 3, 4, or 5.
  • Draft press releases as needed to support 8-K and non 8-K filings.
  • Assist administrator with stock award programs and systems.
  • Liaison with external service providers as required for filing and reporting Company information.
  • Support auditors with questions and help with scheduling.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, including officers and other senior executives.
  • Contributes to a team effort and constantly improves and documents processes to accomplish related results as required.
  • Maintain confidential information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support financial reporting, consolidations, corporate accounting, or treasury as needed.
Job Requirements:
  • BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required
  • 3+ years' public accounting or reporting experience.  SEC reporting or consolidation experience preferred.
  • Must have strong professional communication and organization skills.  Must be detail oriented. Preferred experience working in reporting or consolidation systems. Must be proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), use of PC and PC Software.
